When were we created? In Titus 1:2, apostle Paul wrote the following: "This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised them before the world began."
Now, what is Paul speaking of in this verse when he says, "...which God, who does not lie, promised them before the world began." This is a very good question since most assume that we were created when we were born, yet Paul, expresses very clearly that our Lord God promised 'them' before the world began. Who is 'them' that Paul is speaking of? Let us begin at the beginning of Titus 1 and see what Paul is saying more clearly.
Titus 1:1-2, "This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God – who does not lie – promised them before the world began."
These verses demonstrate very clearly that we were created before the world began and were with our Father in heaven after He created us and it was then that He promised us that we would live eternal lives. Is this not something? How is it then that we came to be on planet Earth and we are not still with our Father in heaven with all of our angelic friends. We must have angelic friends since at one time we were with our Father in heaven. There are several verses in the Book of Revelation that reveal what took place in heaven and which eventually caused our fall from grace and having to leave heaven and journey to Earth. Let us have a look at those revealing verses.
Revelation 12:7-9, "Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon – the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world – was thrown down to the earth with all of his angels."
Here we see the real reason all of us on Earth are in the predicament we find ourselves in is due to our being followers of Satan and being forced to leave Heaven. There are always terrible things happening around the world. People die of awful diseases and die in horrible ways. Our politicians seem to care more about the very rich than the man or woman who is forced to toil day after day to just get by from one day to the next. Our Lord Christ Jesus was sent to rescue us from Satan and eventually destroy Satan's kingdom on Earth. There are several quotes in the Holy Scripture that demonstrate clearly that Satan is the ruler of this world. Let me give you just three of said quotes. Let us begin with one of the stories of our Lord Christ Jesus. One day he was speaking to the crowd and one Pharisee accused Christ Jesus of being the prince of demons. What follows is what our Lord Christ Jesus' response was.
Luke 11:17-22, He knew their thoughts, so he said, "Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart. You say I am empowered by Satan. But if Satan is divided and fighting against himself, how can his kingdom survive? And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said. But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you. For when a strong man is fully armed and guards his palace, his possessions are safe – until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings."
From what we read here, it is obvious that our Lord Christ Jesus is the strong man who is attacking Satan's kingdom on Earth and overpowering Satan, and carrying off his belongings. What might these belonging be except the Soul of our Lord God's children. Without the Souls of our Lord God's children, Satan would have no kingdom at all. Now, here is one more important and eye–opening quote as to who is in charge on this Earth. It is found in the Book of Luke.
Luke 4:1-8, He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread."
But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say, 'People do not live by bread alone.'"
Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. "I will give you the glory of these kingdoms and authority over them," the devil said, "because they are mine to give to anyone I please. I will give it all to you if you will worship me."
Jesus replied, "The Scriptures say, 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'"
And finally, I have the following verse from 1st John 5:19. Here is what it reads, "We know that we are God's children, and that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one."
These verses are not the only verses that demonstrate that our Lord God is not in charge on Earth. When Satan and his angelic followers were cast out of heaven, our Lord God gave this world to Satan and his angels. Satan is the ruler of this world as our Lord Christ Jesus said in another verse not included here. Perhaps you have heard of it already. Even Paul said that the god of this world is Satan. Therefore, please do not blame the horrors of this world on our Father in heaven who loves us very much and would never do anything to bring us harm. Satan is the one who hides in concealment and blames our Father in Heaven for every bad thing that happens on this Earth. If everyone on Earth knew who was really to blame for all the horrors and wars and rumors of wars, they would in wholesale, run to our Father in Heaven and Satan's kingdom on Earth would collapse almost immediately. However, that secret will not be found out for the foreseeable future says The Holy Spirit, who is telling me what to write and how to write it.
This is all The Holy Spirit has to say on this subject for the time being. The Holy Spirit does hope you will delve more into the terrible truth that Satan is the ruler of this world and turn to our Lord Christ Jesus when you have decided what the truth really is. Adios for now my friends.
